We are proud to announce that we are offering another round of grants through our HCX RASIN LAKAY OPEN CALL for 10 artists of Haitian descent in NYC and Haiti<\/strong> to create and present new work to be shared via the HCX online platforms. Artists of all disciplines are invited to apply for a one-time grant of $500 to create and share original work. In 2021, we will select artist projects in alignment with our current theme \u201cFANM\u201d. Topics such as womanhood, gender\/sexuality, environment, and generational leadership will guide curation and artist selection. Priority will be given to female, femme-identifying and queer artists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We encourage imaginative use of social media to express yourselves and bring people together. Examples include but are not limited to: short films, photography, virtual workshops series (how to make X, dance with me, drum with me, paint with me, etc.), seminars, talks, live music performances, creative writing, spoken word, poetry, or performance art.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nous sommes fiers d’annoncer que, dans le cadre de notre appel \u00e0 projets HCX RASIN LAKAY OPEN CALL, nous offrons une nouvelle s\u00e9rie de bourses \u00e0 10 artistes d’origine ha\u00eftienne de New York et d’Ha\u00efti pour cr\u00e9er et pr\u00e9senter de nouvelles \u0153uvres qui seront partag\u00e9es via les plateformes en ligne HCX. Les artistes de toutes les disciplines sont invit\u00e9s \u00e0 demander une bourse unique de 500 dollars pour cr\u00e9er et partager des \u0153uvres originales. En 2021, nous s\u00e9lectionnerons des projets d’artistes en accord avec notre th\u00e8me actuel \u00ab\u00a0FANM\u00a0\u00bb. Des sujets tels que la f\u00e9minit\u00e9, le genre\/la sexualit\u00e9, l’environnement et le leadership g\u00e9n\u00e9rationnel guideront la s\u00e9lection des artistes. La priorit\u00e9 sera accord\u00e9e aux artistes f\u00e9minins, d’identification f\u00e9minine et queer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nous encourageons l’utilisation imaginative des m\u00e9dias sociaux pour vous exprimer et rassembler les gens. Les exemples comprennent, sans s’y limiter: les courts m\u00e9trages, la photographie, les s\u00e9ries d’ateliers virtuels (comment faire quelque chose X, danser avec moi, jouer du tambour avec moi, peindre avec moi, etc.), les s\u00e9minaires, les conf\u00e9rences, les spectacles musicaux en direct, la cr\u00e9ation litt\u00e9raire, l’oralit\u00e9, la po\u00e9sie ou la performance artistique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
